Vietnam coffee nears all-time high

Robusta coffee prices in Vietnam hovered near record highs on Wednesday, with farmers continuing to hold onto remaining thin stocks on hopes of further gains, traders said. Coffee export firms in the key growing province of Daklak cut their buying prices to 45.1-45.4 million dong ($2,169-$2,184) a tonne, after seeking to buy from farmers at 45.7 million dong a tonne on Tuesday, an all-time high.

The all-time high is in local currency terms.

Green certificate trade starts

Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) on Wednesday launched trading of renewable energy certificate on its platform. Total buy bid of 125 non solar REC & 11 Solar REC received in the first trading session.
